Hunter Turns 2!

Here we are quickly approaching the little guy's 3rd birthday and I never posted his 2nd! Hunter had a construction themed party on a beautiful day last July. I did cupcakes, a cake and cookies, just like we did for his first birthday!

The cake! Chocolate of course, with candy rocks and a dump truck on top!

The birthday cake again, I carved out the top to look like the dump truck with working!

Hand decorated sugar cookie tools.

A birthday party isn't a birthday party without cupcakes!

I also made some of my self proclaimed best chocolate chip cookies ever!
I think the birthday boy liked the cake!

Man, I love this kid! Chocolate face!
Happy Birthday sweet Hunter Baby! I know I'm not allowed to call you that, but you will always be Hunter Baby to me! We're so excited to celebrate your third birthday next month! Your Auntie Ali and Uncle Matt love you to the moon and back!

My First Wedding!

I did my first wedding last summer and it was so much fun! Amy, an old friend from school, called me and asked me if I would make cupcakes for their wedding at this great garden wedding venue in Olympia. We decided on chocolate peanut butter, strawberry lemon and red velvet.  The cupcakes looked so beautiful on this pretty little table in the middle of the garden!

The cupcake table. What a beautiful location for a wedding!
The cake! So pretty with fresh with roses and the couples' cute cake topper.
The cupcakes! The venue had all of these great plates and cake stands for us to use.

Congratulations Amy and Fritz! Best wishes for a wonderful life together!

Alice in Wonderland

These Alice in Wonderland were for a little ladie's first birthday party. The cupcakes were red velvet with white chocolate cream cheese frosting.

Leah Turns One!

Oh my goodness...

My sweet "niece" Leah turns two next week, and I am just now posting the cake and cupcake pictures from her first birthday! Her mommy had a sweet pink and purple princess party for her, so cute and girly!
So cute and girly!

When Ashley told me it was a pricnes theme I knew the cake needed a crown and pretty ribbon!

The cupcakes were confetti and chocolate with pink and purple or chocolate frosting. Yummy and super kid friendly!

The beautiful little birthday girl with her birthday cake!
I can't believe you are growing up so fast sweet Leah! Your Auntie and Uncle love you!!!

Wedding Time!

I don't know how a year passed without me posting on this blog! People are going to start thinking I'm not baking anymore (which is SO not true!)

I recently had the pleasure of making cupcakes for my dear friend Alyssa's wedding to her sweet new husband Matt. Alyssa is one of the friends I was lucky enough to inherit when Matt and I started dating, and we are so lucky to have her as a friend!

The best thing about doing cupcakes for Alyssa and Matt was that she let me do them "just yummy".  She didn't want to compromise flavor to have them match any certain theme, so we just made them SUPER yummy!

Here they are...

Cinnamon Roll Cupcakes!  I think these turned out the best! They were a new, original, recipe of mine and they came out amazing!

Confetti Cupcakes, these were a special request from the groom! I think they turned out great and added lots of color and fun to the cupcake table!
Chocolate cupcakes with whipped cream oreo frosting and oreos on top! YUMMY!

Pink Champagne cupcakes.  I think these came out the prettiest and looked very "weddingy"!

Reeses Cupcakes... Is there anyone out there who doesn't like chocolate and peanut butter together?
S'mores Cupcakes, these were awesome! Chocolate cupcakes with a graham cracker crust topped with homemade marshmallow frosting!

The table all put together! Alyssa's husband, Matt, did a GREAT job building the cupcakes stands! They turned out awesome and the table looked SO yummy!

Thank you Alyssa and Matt for letting me be a part of your big day! It was an honor!  Matt and I wish you guys a lifetime of love and happiness!
